OrCAD Tutorial: How to Operate Components in Schematics
Selection element
1. Single component: mouse click component
2. Multiple components: Hold down the CTRL key and click on each component
3. All components in the area: direct mouse left click
4. All components in multiple areas: hold the CTRL key, box by area
Moving element
1. Single Element: Select Direct Drag
2. Multiple components: CTRL selected, direct drag
3. By default, the component moves with the connection. If the electrical connection is cut off, hold down the ALT key and drag it.
Rotation of components
1. Single component rotation: selected component, shortcut R, or Edit-"rotate
2. A set of object rotation: CTRL selected, shortcut R, or Edit-"rotate
3. Rotation will cut off the electrical connection.
4. Rotate commands sometimes do not work, usually occur on the margins, and there is not enough space.
Mirroring flipping of components
1. Select the component, Edit-“mirror-†select horizontal and vertical
2. Text and bitmap cannot perform this operation
