Pickering Interfaces Expands PXI Microwave Multiplexer Product Category
As the industry's leading provider of modular signal switching and electronic test and verification simulation equipment, Pickering Interfaces announced the addition of a series of 50 GHz modules for its 40-785B PXI microwave multiplexer.
These new modules are available in single or dual 6-channel versions, and the relays are front panel mounted for applications that switch between 50 ohms and up to 50 GHz. The single-slot version supports up to three remotely mounted (relays separated from PXI modules) multiplexers. In addition, all new modules include LEDs that indicate channel settings, a feature that has been widely used in earlier rack stacking solutions.
The 40-785B microwave multiplexer family is compatible with any PXI chassis and can also be plugged into a PXI hybrid slot in a PXIe chassis. In addition, the series can also be used on Pickering Ethernet-controlled LXI modular chassis with 18 and 7 slot options. The remotely mounted version of the relay can be used in a 2-slot USB/LXI chassis.
This family of products is software-enabled by Pickering 's signal routing software, Switch Path Manager, for easy signal routing in complex switching systems.
