In 2008, after repeated trials, the first prototype of the manufacturing robot developed by the Eft team was officially born; on September 20 of that year, the first domestic heavy-duty 165 kg robot independently developed by Eft also announced the success of the trial production. In the past, all robots on Chery's production lines were imported. In 2009, the trial production of Eft Robot successfully changed this status quo. After repeated debugging, Chery's production workshop officially ushered in the first robot of the Eft team.
Nowadays, when walking into the production workshop of Chery Automobile Company, there are no busy workers on the assembly line. Instead, industrial robots are working hard. According to Eft staff, at present, more than 90% of the industrial robots in Chery's automobile production line are manufactured by Eft, which broke the 30-year monopoly of foreign robots in China's automobile manufacturing field.
Right now, Eft has transformed from a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chery to a mixed-ownership company, and continues to "make great efforts" in the field of robotics. In 2010, the company’s QH-165 industrial spot welding robot won the second prize of the 2009 National Machinery Industry Staff Technological Innovation Achievement; in 2012, the company won the Silver Award of the China International Industry Fair; in 2013, the company established Cai Hegao’s academician workstation, provincial level The enterprise technology center, engineering technology research center and other R&D platforms further consolidated the R&D foundation, became the vice chairman unit of the China Robot Industry Alliance and led the establishment of the Anhui Robot Industry Innovation Strategic Alliance; 2014-2015 is the company’s rapid market In the two years of expansion, the company has won the best-selling domestic robot brand award for two consecutive years, and has emerged in major exhibitions...

According to statistics from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the sales volume of China's industrial robots was about 68,500 in 2015, which increased to 72,426 in 2016, and exceeded 100,000 in 2017. The use of industrial robots also accounted for 35% of the world in the same period...China has become the world's largest Industrial robot market. As early as October 2013, the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Finance formally approved the pilot implementation plan for the development of regional clusters of strategic emerging industries in Anhui Province to support the creation of robots in Anhui. As a local company in Anhui, Eft has caught up with the good times.
