Huadu wants to build LED national base in 5 years


The eye-catching Olympic rings and the radiant water cube won the appreciation of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. This is lifted by the LED light source from Huadu, Guangzhou. On May 16th, these Olympic product suppliers and leading LED manufacturers in China gathered together to discuss the development of the LED industry at the Huadu District Semiconductor Lighting Application and Industrialization Development Forum.

At present, Huadu District has clearly proposed to build a photonics industry base, and strive to build Huadu District into the country's largest semiconductor lighting technology research and development center and application product manufacturing center through three to five years of construction, and upgrade to national-level semiconductor lighting industrialization. The base is expected to have an annual output value of more than 15 billion yuan and an annual tax of more than 750 million yuan.
