Philips executives visit Shanghai Semiconductor Lighting Engineering Technology Research Center

On February 1st, Dr. HAHarwig, Global Chief Technology Officer of Philips, and Dr. Frans JAM Greidanus, Senior Vice President of Philips Research Institute and Executive Director of East Asia Research Institute, visited Shanghai Semiconductor Lighting Engineering Technology Research Center.

Guo Yansheng, Director of the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission and Director of the Shanghai Semiconductor Lighting Engineering Technology Research Center, expressed his warm welcome to them and looked forward to further cooperation between Philips and Shanghai in LED lighting. Dr. Yang Weiqiao, Assistant Director of the Center, gave a detailed introduction to the history, mission, development status and achievements of Dr. Harwig. Dr. Harwig and Dr. Donald are very interested in the development of the center and the responsibilities of the center. They have an understanding of the center LED research and development, landscape lighting design, and patent types.
