May 26, 2010 patent licensing company Bluestone Innovations Texas LLC in east Texas court made two series of cases against accused global LED maker Osram (OSRAM), Nichia (Nichia) and many other manufacturers, patent infringement, to draw Prohibition orders and damages.
The first case:
The company accused by the defendant OSRAM and the US branch of OSRAM Sylvania, as well as the semi-high-brightness LED chip manufacturer SemiLEDs in Idaho (a subsidiary of Taiwanese manufacturer Xuming Optoelectronics SemiLEDs). Involving patent infringement US 6,448,102, including LED semiconductor chip module G6SG produced by OSRSM, of which US 6,448,102 is transferred from XEROX CORPORATION.
The second case:
Alleged defendants Taiwan LED manufacturers Jingdian, Yuyuan, Guanglu, Taigu Optoelectronics, as well as Japanese LED manufacturers Nichia, Showa Denko, Toyoda Gosei produced InGaN LED chip design and manufacturing technology infringement, of which US6,163,557 also transferred from XEROX CORPORATION.
