Google releases driverless July monthly report: Relatively calm month

At the beginning of the month, many companies began to issue reports last month. If July is a dark month for Tesla, then Google will be much calmer. Google also released a July monthly report on driverless cars, which showed that in the past July, Google’s driverless cars had a relatively calm month.

Google conducted some emergency tests in July, such as short circuit or software problems. Google’s driverless cars have also upgraded their sensor systems to more sensitively monitor the driving conditions of the surrounding vehicles. Google also has assist systems for driverless cars.

In July, Google’s driverless car only had a traffic accident. A Google unmanned car was rear-ended to a car after being decelerated to 11 km/h, resulting in partial car injuries but no injuries.

Google currently has 58 unmanned cars - 24 Lexus RX450h SUVs and 34 prototypes are being tested in Washington State, California, Arizona and Texas. Google’s driverless cars have surpassed more than 1.8 million miles (about 2.897 million miles).
