According to foreign media reports, Google and HTC will announce today that Google will acquire the HTC mobile phone unit for US$5 billion.
HTC announced in a statement that the company’s mobile phone division could not stop losses, effectively make profits, and would resell Google in a better way. HTC will receive 5 billion U.S. dollars in cash, which will help relieve the financial pressure of the company.
