At the same time, Heshuo also invested NT 71.847 billion (approximately RMB 150 million) to purchase manufacturing equipment and other facilities for the plant, with a total investment of over RMB 400 million.
The huge investment made by Heshuo is, of course, in order to obtain orders for iPhones from Apple. At present, Heshuo has iPhone assembly projects in Shanghai, Suzhou and Kunshan. More than 50% of the company's profits come from Apple's OEM.
CEO of Lianhe Liao Cizheng once stated that in order to increase the level of automated production of Heshuo in the mainland, it is necessary to purchase new equipment to increase production efficiency.
According to industry sources, this year's OEM work has made Heshuo a very good revenue, this big investment is expected to win Apple's iPhone orders next year, mainly OLED version.
