Littelfuse low-capacitance TVS diode arrays are only 1/3 the size of a typical four-line array

Littelfuse , Inc., a global leader in circuit protection, today announced the introduction of a new family of small form factor TVS diode arrays (SPA? Diodes) designed to protect high speed signal pins. The SP3422-04UTG Series 0.2pF22kV Transient Suppression Diode Array combines a four-channel ultra-low capacitance rail-to-rail diode with an additional Zener diode for protection of electronic equipment susceptible to electrostatic discharge (ESD) damage. This superior component safely absorbs repetitive ESD strikes at the highest level specified by the IEC61000-4-2 international standard with no degradation in performance.

Typical applications for the SP3422-04UTG family of TVS diode arrays include:

The SP3422-04UTG series of TVS diode arrays have the following key advantages:

• Provides ESD protection for four lines, which is smaller than the traditional SOD-882 package and saves more board space compared to discrete or dual channel devices.

• Straight path is connected to the PCB pins without degrading signal integrity and without “fan-out”.

Low parasitic capacitance (nominally 0.2pF) helps maintain signal integrity and is ideal for high-speed USB 3.0, MIPI and DisplayPort interfaces.

· This automotive grade humidity-sensitivity grade 1 (MSL-1) product delivers performance over a wide temperature range in harsh environments without performance degradation.
