Kunshan Flat Panel Display Center successfully developed 12-inch AMOLED display
It is reported that the Kunshan Flat Panel Display Center, an innovative technology research institute specializing in AMOLED technology research and development and industrial transformation, jointly established by Kunshan Visionox and Kunshan Industrial Research Institute, has successfully developed the first 12-inch active-drive organic luminescence in China. Display (AMOLED) full-color display, which is the first 10-inch OLED display independently developed in China, marking the official entry of China's AMOLED technology into the "big screen" era.
It is understood that in December 2010, the project team of the center opened up the LTPS-TFT backplane and OLED display manufacturing technology, and successfully developed 2.8-inch, 3.5-inch and 7.6-inch AMOLED full-color displays. The successful development of the 12-inch AMOLED full-color display represents the highest level of domestic AMOLED display technology, laying a solid foundation for China's independent research and development of large-size AMOLED display products. It is reported that the above research and development work has been supported by the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Science and Technology.
